Farewell to the Homeland

On March 5th, 2013 I headed home to Atlanta, Georgia / Everywhere, Florida after a year and a half short journey through Thailand, Laos, Cambodia, Indonesia, and Australia with my bestie and soul sister Sarah Burnett. I spent a few days in Atlanta and then I was off to Tallahassee, Vero Beach, West Palm Beach and Orlando. In Tallahassee I was able to visit with the family and some long time friends and was able to be apart of Kate and Cody’s beautiful wedding.

I finally got to meet my newest nephew Jase!!!!

After Tallahassee, I set off for Vero Beach to finally get to see my mom. We had a couple days of quality mother daughter time before heading to West Palm Beach to visit some more of the fam! We happen to make it just in time for cousin Jennifer’s Birthday party! We had a blast eating great food, laughing and dancing until it hurt!

I got to meet and snuggle with beautiful Annabelle!!!

Next stop was Orlando to get to see my sister Alissa, Frank and the babies! Most of the time, we hung by the pool and played catch up while practicing our yoga moves.

One of the days, Sarah came to visit and we all went to Islands of Adventures for a day full of roller coaster riding!!!



The next day I went to Sarah’s parents house to have a slumber party and get a visit with her parents, brother, sister in-law, and their beautiful twin baby girls, Hayln and Hope.



After about a month around Florida I unfortunately had to get back to Atlanta and get in as much work as I could in two months. I did work a lot but I also managed to have some fun too! I made it out for two music festivals with the girls, the Braves opening game, Megan and Johnny, Melissa and Nick and Cada and Roberts weddings, plus lots of amazing dinners!

Time at home was running out quick so I took a week off of work and headed down to St. George Island for a little some might call, vacation before my vacation.

Momma Jessica put Cami in the pool so Cami retaliated by covering herself in dirt..

We couldn't be mad because she's just so cute!

On the last day at Dad's beach house, Jessica spotted an owl trapped in the screen porch.

Dad rescued the little guy and set him free.

Needless to say, it was a busy couple of months but I would never have had it any other way. Next stop Los Angeles, USA to Sydney, Australia to Auckland, New Zealand. Spend one night in Auckland and then, final destination for a couple of months, Queenstown, New Zealand!!!
