"Life is short, break the rules.
Forgive quickly. Kiss slowly. Love truly.
Laugh uncontrollably, and never regret
ANYTHING that makes you smile.

The Scenery is FREE

When money is tight and you live in one of the most expensive towns in the world you’ve got to find things to occupy your time that don’t break the bank. So, while I wait for work to get busy, I spend most of my time hiking through the mountains and biking around town and through the beautiful parks. Or visiting my favorite coffee shops for some free Wi-Fi and the best coffees in the WORLD! Or people watching and reading books on the lakeside when it’s not too cold. I also found a free yoga class on Saturday mornings. WINNING!
Treck up the Gondola overlooking Queenstown
Paragliders putting on an amazing show
Half way up the Gondola and one of my FAV shots
The view of town from above
It was getting late and cold so I took this road I found half way down. Bad idea. It was all ice and I literally slid and fell the entire way down. Opps.
Walking around house hunting
Warf on the lake in the center of town.
This is usually where I sit and have my coffee in the morning..and again in the afternoon. =)
BEST COFFEE EVER!!!!
And so pretty too!!

Cute little ducks I feed my stale loafs of bread to.
I'm not sure where he brought his piano from but this was pretty cool to watch. He was set up just in the middle of the street. It't a nice day in the office for this guy.
Almost everyday around 2pm tight rope performers set up on the lakeside and practice their skills. It's a great spot to take a break. Maybe I'll get up there and try one day.

I could go on and on with the beautiful pictures I've taken and I haven't even been out of town or up the ski mountains yet. This place is definitely special and I can see why people fall in love with Queenstown so easily. It's a small town that everybody knows everybody. You feel like family. Everyone is so nice. It almost feels like a bit of southern hospitality that I'm accustomed to. I believe its because everyone is just so dang happy. There really seems to be "No Worries" here.
